Our Animals

On Thursday, April 28, we found a surprise!  We had no idea that we would be welcoming a new little creature to our farm.  Natalie, one of our females gave birth to Rainy Windstorm, who has had a rough start.  She had to spend a few days at Virgnia Tech Animal Hospital but is she now up and going strong!  She is sweet, playful baby girl!

Our rabbits have multiplied!  In March, our bunnies were courting.  Daffodil, the dark rabbit, did not like her cage so she was turned loose and has stayed close.  In April, she gave birth to 4 babies who live under the shed with their momma!

We are developing an agility course for the animals.  Ever walked an Alpaca?  They love to be led around the block!  Its great exercise for both Alpaca legs and human legs!  It also develops relationships and leadership skills.

Anatolian Shepards are bred to protect Alpacas.  These happy dogs are keeping a watch over their friends and playmates while catching some Spring sunshine!

What a surprise for a three year old boy to open the chicken coop and collect the eggs!  Talk about a real egg hunt!  Our beautiful chickens help children develop an understanding for food production and sustainability through taking the egg from the coop to the table.  We teach respect and love through our animals who also provide for us.

Relax and be still!  Just spending time with our animals is relaxing.  There are several places to just take a break on the farm including benches in the paddocks, the garden, the patio, as well as the prayer garden.  We welcome those who just need some time away to sit and be still!
